Lighting is Selected for its Energy Efficiency, Ease of Maintenance and Aesthetic Value WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has installed LED Folio Corporation TiLux fixtures in its Foggy Bottom Station as part of a pilot project for lighting its metro stations. The project aims to take advantage of the long lifetimes of LEDs to reduce the cost of maintenance, which is presently $4.5M annually.
